The Hoysaleswara Temple in Halebidu, Karnataka built in the 12th century.

The outer walls of this Temple have intricate carvings and it has been described as an outstanding example of Hindu architecture.
There are more than 240 images in the Temple & no other Temple has these many intricate sculptures.

Today, the artwork & the architecture of the Temple are damaged because of the sacking by Invaders in the late 14th century.
